Wenjie was first introduced to yoga in China in 2004 when she was in university. In 2006, she was accepted by Monash University in Australia for her master’s degree. 3 years later, she moved to the US working as a CPA. During 12 years of traveling, study & work experience had brought a lot of changes, opportunities and challenges in life. However, yoga remained the most stable thing in her life. She loves the Eastern traditional style of yoga but also enjoys the energetic Western-style vinyasa flows. In August 2016, she completed her 200 hour teacher training program at Joy Yoga. She infuses her passion for yoga in each posture, giving gentle and encouraging cues with particular emphasis on the breath, playfulness, and enjoyment of the present moment. She loves to give one on one adjustment and play world music in her class.
