I believe that there is an intrinsic connection between the body and mind. They naturally play together and develop our health. Yoga helped me to discover this connection for myself. With each intention of my practice, I become more equipped to manage my own personal stress and anxiety that used to consume my life. My circle of compassion grew with each practice and I found myself discovering more beauty in this world.
I was a Pre-Med student at UT when Yoga found me. This was a time that I needed it most. I soon realized that I was not 100% sure I wanted to go to medical school. I did not understand what I was doing with my life, I became depressed, and I lost myself. Yoga and a trip to India changed my life forever. I fell in love with this world and found my light. I am an animal lover, music enthusiast, and vegan nutritionist. I am studying Naturopathic Medicine in hopes to one day open a Wellness Center and create a community where we can all grow off each other. The positive impact that yoga has brought into my life inspires me to share its magic with others.
My intention for my classes is to create a safe space for my students to practice, which allows them to fully express themselves by following their hearts. I focus on leading students through each asana by reminding them to stay in the present moment, conscious breathing, and most importantly, to always do their best to preserve forward. I challenge all my students to find their inner edge while listening and respecting their body’s needs. My goal as a teacher is to help students discover their own light, to find their balance in all situations and to empower them from within. I hope to add positivity and love to your life. I truly care and want you to discover your true self. Join me and let us grow together. Find your light by following your heart.
