MERCY

 I started practicing Yoga about 2 years ago. I walked into my first class ever feeling nervous, scared, shy, embarrassed and most of all awkward. I remember thinking to myself “Geez I can’t even touch my toes!” It was definitely a physical challenge and I was completely drawn and hooked to the practice. The more I practiced, the more I saw a shift in my attitude and life. I noticed my control with my reactions and with my thoughts. I became more aware. I started reading more about Yoga, the 8 Limbs of Yoga and was in complete awe. The physical practice drew me in and I LOVE it but it’s so much more than that. Its mental, trust, connection, awareness, kindness, love, detachment, breath, understanding, compassion, control and well I can go on forever! It’s something beautiful I remind myself every day.
